Visit Douglas-Coffee County announces Gopher Tortoise Festival poster contest

In collaboration with Vyve Broadband, Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA is sponsoring its inaugural Gopher Tortoise Festival (GTF) Poster Contest. First place poster design will be printed and sold at the festival and the creator will win a $300 American Express gift card courtesy of Vyve Broadband. All ages and levels of expertise are encouraged to enter, but must be from Coffee County. 

The Gopher Tortoise Festival is Douglas-Coffee County’s yearly arts and crafts festival featuring handmade, homemade, and homegrown products. The event will have live music and entertainment throughout both Friday, Sept. 30 from 4-9pm and Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9am - 4pm. Food trucks, bungee trampoline, informational booths and fun are all included in the weekend. There will even be live gopher tortoises and a reptile show.

Judging will be done by representatives from Vyve Broadband and the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce. Top 3 entries will receive a prize. 

RULES

• Poster must be submitted as a 11X16 PDF file. Design must include 3rd Annual Gopher Tortoise Festival; Douglas-Coffee County, GA; and Sept. 30 - Oct. 1, 2022 in the design.  
• The contest is open to everyone in Coffee County. 
• Please include in your email, your name, full address, phone, age (if you would like) and Facebook or Instagram info if applicable. We will post winners’ photos with prizes and entry. 
• Entrant agrees that Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA shall own all rights to design once submitted. GTF is given the right to make any adjustments to the winning entry for adding Vyve Broadband, Visit Douglas-Coffee County GA,  and Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce logos or information.
