A large crowd of customers, friends, family and fellow businesses owners gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting for DIVINE Baby and Children's Boutique located at 248 South Peterson Ave in Douglas, Georgia. The owner, Jennifer Beecher Waldron, chose to name her new boutique, DIVINE, because of its special meaning "of God, Heavenly" which is based on Psalm 127:3 "Behold, children are a gift from the Lord, they are a reward from Him."

Jennifer began her journey toward opening her own boutique soon after giving birth to her daughter, Mallory.  When Jennifer began making headbands and tutus for Mallory, it wasn't long before friends began asking her to make them for their little ones. These requests continued to grow into what is now known as DIVINE where Jennifer specializes in handcrafted headbands, tutus, birthday sets, clothing and so much more.  DIVINE has a great selection of unique items and accessories for girls, preemie–size 12 and boys, preemie–size 6. All items have been handmade or hand selected with lots of love by Jennifer and she welcomes your requests for custom orders.

Jennifer stated, "I love being a part of historic downtown Douglas and am blessed with the best customers and neighbors that a girl could ask for!  I appreciate all my Divine family for their continued support and can't wait to grow with Douglas into the future."
