Congratulations to Alexa Smith, Owner of Dresses & Dreams, for her recent expansion and relocation in Downtown Douglas! Beginning at the age of 15 under the guidance of previous owner, Judy Russ, Alexa began fulfilling her dream of becoming a business owner. In just a few short years, that dream became a reality when she was able to follow in Judy’s footsteps by becoming the owner of Dresses and Dreams and has grown the business into the successful venture it is today.

Joining the Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce to celebrate Dresses and Dreams expansion and relocation were several neighboring merchants, Chamber of Commerce and City of Douglas officials, family and friends. Lisa Hodge, Interim President of Douglas-Coffee County Chamber of Commerce, Pastors of Covenant Church, Gregory and Jackie Pope, City of Douglas Mainstreet Director, Pattie Parker, Mayor Pro Tem Kentaiwon Durham, Past Chamber Chairman Stanley Lott, EDA Chairman Adam Smith, Chamber Board members, Ben Floyd, Vette Lott and several friends and family were on hand to celebrate Dresses and Dreams ribbon cutting in the new beautifully renovated facility where dreams do come true!
