Timothy Tucker, a sophomore at Coffee High School and active FBLA member, will serve as the Georgia FBLA State South Area Vice President. Tucker was elected to his position during the Georgia State Leadership Conference in Atlanta, March 23-25, 2018.

“I am very proud of Timothy for running and all the hard work he put into getting elected”, stated Ms. Fountain his CHS FBLA adviser. Timothy had to fill out an application, write several essays, come up with his campaign platform, take three test and go through two intensive interviews just to be able to run for state officer in March. And on March 24, 2018 during the end of the Awards presentation it was announced that Timothy Tucker from Coffee High School will be the 2018-2019 Georgia FBLA State South Area Vice President.

He will be attending state officer training in April, where he will work vigorously with the entire Georgia FBLA state team to accomplish their requirements for the week. Together the officers will work on the Georgia FBLA state theme and program of work for the year. During the week in April, Tucker will also attend workshops on topics such as public speaking, plan of action, business communications, parliamentary procedure, and other leadership related topics.

Ashni Patel, a sophomore at Coffee High School, will also be representing CHS FBLA as Region Officer. Ashni will be attending region officer training in July to prepare her for the many duties that will be expected of her for the 2018-2019 term.

“Ashni makes me so very proud not only qualifying for region officer but also placing first in electronic career portfolio event at the State Leadership Conference” replied Ms. Fountain.
