Authorities stated Ronald Allen Lott, Jr. was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a scheduled controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana following a July 9 search at 199 Ron's Lane. Also arrested during the incident was 31-year-old Amanda Jacobs of Waycross, who was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Drug unit detectives also reported these additional recent arrests:

July 16 - DCDU HEAT Unit officers stopped a vehicle on N. Peterson Ave. at Gordon St. in Douglas for a traffic violation.  During the traffic stop, officers discovered the passengers of the vehicle to be in possession of methamphetamine, methadone, Lorcet, and Xanax; DCDU was contacted.  Amy Renee Tyson (27) of Douglas was arrested for possession of a scheduled controlled substance, and  Jessie Walter Burkhalter (47) of Douglas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, three counts of possession of a scheduled controlled substance, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
