Detectives with the Coffee County Sheriff's Office have arrested a man they say is responsible for stealing nearly $100,000 worth of jewelry during an incident that occurred last month.

Sheriff's officials began an investigation into a burglary which took place mid-December at a residence off West Green Rd. in which the complainant told authorities someone had broken into the home and stolen approximately $97,000 in various jewelry items.

The victim told law enforcement that when she returned home from work that day, she noticed several drawers in a dresser located in her bedroom were opened. When she checked the location where she kept valuables, she discovered multiple items were missing.

During the investigation,  a number of individuals were interviewed with no positive result until detectives received information that a white male was in the Oak Park area riding a bicycle selling jewelry. Upon further investigation, detectives made contact with a white male going by the name William Stone, also known as Tattoo.

During this encounter with Mr. Stone, he was found to be in possession of some of the property that was taken. As a result of the encounter, Stone was arrested and charged with one count of first degree burglary and possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.

Also arrested in the case were Brian Eugene Nipper, Heather Nipper, and Dennis Harrison who were each charged with theft by receiving stolen property.

Sheriff's officials state the case remains ongoing and ask anyone with any information about this burglary to contact the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

All the suspects in this case are still being held in the Coffee County Jail.
