Cocaine, packaging materials discovered in weekend bust

Two people were charged with multiple offenses, including intent to distribute cocaine, following an incident last Friday.

Detectives with the Douglas-Coffee Drug Unit executed a search warrant on a residence at 375 Sandy Springs Rd., where authorities discovered an undisclosed quantity of cocaine, marijuana, packaging materials, and a firearm.

As a result of the investigation, Jeremiah Jones (44) was arrested and charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

Tamalia Denise Jones (42) was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
