Hansel Brown, 76

Hansel Brown, age 76, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Mr. Brown was born January 27, 1947, in Coffee County, Ga to Fred Junior Brown and Laura Smith Brown.

Survivors include; Wife: Audra Brown, Two Sons: Ashley Brown (Julee) of Fort Valley, GA and Jimmy Brown (Lisa) of Lakeland, GA, Two Step Children: Tammy Miller of Douglas, GA and Trevis Miller of New York, Brother: Paul S. Brown of Douglas, GA, Sister: Katherine Rohn of Douglas, GA, Thirteen Grandchildren and Twelve Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by; Parents: Fred and Laura Brown, Three Brothers: David Brown, Fred Brown, Charles Brown, One Sister: Patricia Brown, Nephew: Travis McKinnon and Sister in law: Melva Jean Brown.

The family will receive friends Friday, February 3, 2023 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00PM at Rocky Pond Church with Pastor Lonnie Spikes officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Kevin Harper, Kevin Brown, Keith Brown, Jessie Phillips and Roy Brown. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Rocky Pond Church Deacons. Interment followed at the Douglas City Cemetery.
