Virginia “Jenny” Fussell, age 72, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Mrs. Fussell was born on November 10, 1950 in Coffee County, GA to Charles Roscoe “Boogie” Day and Ruth Harper Day.
Survivors include; Dauther: Tonya Russ (Josh) of Nicholls, GA, Son: Mark Merritt (Shonda) of Ambrose, GA, Sister in law: Barbara Day of Douglas, GA, Six Grandchildren: Trista Merritt, Brady Merritt (Katie) Zenon Merritt, Bailey Russ, Tyler Russ and Harper Russ, several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Roscoe “Boogie” and Ruth Day and Husband: Jimmy Ray Fussell.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00AM to 10:45AM at Sims Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00AM at Griffen Cemetery.
