Katie Mae McAllister, 74, was born the daughter of the late Willis Cutler and the late Hannah Crockett in Douglas. Katie was born on January 13, 1945. Katie was a devoted wife to Tommie Lee McAllister. The two were married in March of 1989. She is also a loving mother. Together they have one daughter, Thomasina Bailey (Norman Bailey Jr.) and she has an adopted son Daniel Lewis. She recently became a grandmother to six-month-old, Legynd Bailey and expecting another in which she was confident will be a sweet little girl. Katie was one of the sweetest souls one could ever meet. She always had a dance in her step, a smile on her face and a song in her heart. She was an employee of Walmart Supercenter for eighteen years. Even if you didn’t know her name you knew her voice. She was the “little singing lady.”
