Joseph Daniel Arnold, age 23, of Douglas, GA passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Arnold was born on March 7, 1991, in Douglas, GA to Katie Joyce Harrell.

Survivors include: his mother, Katie Arnold of Douglas, GA; three sisters, Kelly Taylor of Douglas, GA, Hannah Harrell of Brunswick, GA, and Dawn Phillips of Douglas, GA; four brothers, James Metts of Douglas, GA, Jeremy Metts of Douglas, GA, Shannon Smith of St. George, GA, and Zenas Smith of Catersville, GA, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Arnold.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Roy Abbott officiating. Music is furnished for the service by CD “Go Rest High On That Mountain”. Active Pallbearers are: Shannon Smith, Jeremy Metts, Stevie Jackson, Joshua Jackson, Steven Jackson, and James Jackson.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
