Broadcast South is proud to announce Ashleyn Adams as the new voice and personality for the Shine 101.9 radio morning show. She will be taking over the spot from Ryan “The Man” Hannah and “King” Shea Browning.

While listeners are going to miss “Mornings with Ryan and Shea”, Ashleyn guarantees to deliver entertainment news, great music and contests to keep the fans happy.

Ashleyn is not new to the broadcasting world.  She started her career in 2012 as a morning show host and later gained experience with the afternoon audience.

Adams is native to Douglas.  Her parents are Micheal Davis of Douglas and Jennifer Lott of West Green. She has several interests and passions that should provide Shine 101.9 listeners with plenty of entertainment.  She likes to hunt, read, watch Netflix and spend time with her two dogs that she describes as being “like my kids.”

She adds, “Literally, my dogs, Luka and Paige, go everywhere with me.”

While Ashleyn enjoys her work as an entertainer, she plans to pursue a career in the accounting field after finishing her degree. She hopes that everyone will continue to tune in to Shine 101.9 on weekday mornings from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

“I have some big shoes to fill and I am super excited to start this journey,” she says.
