Angelica Maria Guadalupe Castorena Garcia, age 45 of Broxton, Ga., passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Ga., following an extended illness. Ms. Garcia was born December 17, 1968, in Mexico to Maria DeLourdes Castorena Garcia.

Survivors include: her mother, Maria DeLourdes Castorena Garcia of Mexico, daughter, Montserratn Ornelas of Broxton, Ga., son, Richard Angelo Castorena of Broxton, Ga., four sisters, Ma. Izamal Carstorena Garcia, Lourdes Veronica Castorena Garcia, Ma. Gabriela de los Milagros Castorena Garcia, and Ma. Josefina Gonzales Castorena, three brothers, Ricardo Benjamin de Jesus Castorena Garcia, Martin Alberto Gonzales Castorena, and Judas Josefath Tadeo Gonzales Castorena, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and Wake Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Mass Services will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014, at 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Paul O’Connell officiating. Interment will follow in Mexico.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
