Mrs. Annelle Hester Bryan, age 78, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Millwood following an extended illness. Mrs. Bryan was born in Wray on April 21, 1936, to the late Joseph Hester and Myrtle Prescott Hester.

She is survived by two sons, Bradley Bryan of Douglas and Frankie (Brenda) Bryan of Millwood; two daughters, Pamela Bagwell of McCleny, FL and Penny Powell of Bonaire; one brother, Robert Kenneth (Linda) Hester of Wrens; two sisters, Ellene (James) Echols of Fitzgerald and Fay (Sage) Strickland of Fitzgerald; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bryan, and a granddaughter, Chalie Bryan.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Sand Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Clough, Rev. Richard Sims and Rev. Kenneth Hester officiating. Interment will follow at Pridgen Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
