West Green Elementary held a ceremony to dedicate its new U.S. flag and flagpole on September 17.  West Green Elementary School would like to thank Woodmen of the World and Woodmen of the World members, Mr. Mingledorff and Mr. Parsons, for the new flag and flagpole.

Principal Kim Miller welcomed and introduced honored guests.  Reverend Kevin Bounds, Mrs. Mona Moore, Mr. Henry Mingledorff, Mr. Arnold Parsons, Mrs. Carol Morgan, and Dr. Morris Leis were honored guests who spoke during the ceremony.  The Coffee High School NROTC and Mr. Parsons raised the new flag.  Representatives of the public safety, fire, and emergency services served as honorary color guard.
