Mrs. Margaret “Peggy” Williams Odom, age 71, of Douglas, GA passed away at Shady Acres Nursing and Rehab Center on Monday, November 3, 2014 following an extended illness. Mrs. Odom was born August 22, 1943 to the late Walter Cleo Williams and Margaret Wright Williams.

She is survived by her husband: Gerald Odom of Douglas, GA; one son: Gerald “Jerry” Odom of Jacksonville, FL; one daughter: Margaret Melissa Seehorn of Franklin, TN; two brothers: Dr. Bryan Robinson Williams of Atlanta, GA and Lawton Williams of Honea Path, SC; Four grandchildren: Reid Odom, Clay Odom, Ellie Seehorn and Caroline Seehorn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 4 to 6 PM at Sims Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Sam Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
