DPD, Wiregrass to offer women’s handgun safety course

The Douglas Police Department and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College (Douglas) are glad to announce another offering of the women’s handgun safety course.

The course will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The morning session will consist of classroom time at the Wiregrass Douglas campus and the afternoon will be spent at the range where each participant will recieve one-on-one instruction.

The cost of the course is $25. To register, please call (229)468-2074 or email gail.giddens@wiregrass.edu.
