Charlotte Lillian Stevens, age 69, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. Mrs. Stevens was born on September 5, 1945, in Detroit, MI to the late Charles Henry Gies and Cecelia Michon Gies.

Survivors include: her husband, James David Stevens of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Pamela Austin Byrd of Douglas, GA and Tammy Lynn (Toshawn) O’Steen of Nicholls, GA; son, Joseph Donald Scesny of Alamo, GA; sister, Beverly Kelly of Bunnell, FL; eight grandchildren, Cody Alan Tanner of Ray City, GA, Pamela Michele Tanner of Douglas, GA, Ciara Nichole Davis of Douglas, GA, Cheyenne O’Steen of Nicholls, GA, Dakota O’Steen of Nicholls, GA, William O’Steen of Hamburg, AK, Shawna O’Steen of Hamburg, AR and Kristen O’Steen Hamburg, AR; two great grandchildren, Keylik Austin Tanner of Ray City, GA and Hayden Blake Diaz of Hazlehurst, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, James Blake Davis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Memorial Service will be held later date.

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
