Mrs. Betty Frances Clary, age 85, of Douglas, GA passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Clary was born on January 22, 1928, in Monroe, NC to the late Frank McCoy Fite and Ruby Smith Fite.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Tony) West of Douglas, GA; brother, Lloyd (Naomi) Fite of Charlotte, NC; four grandchildren, David (Shelly) Hughes of Virginia Beach, VA; Darin (Vonda) Hughes of Catawba, NC; Chad (Jessica) Mangum of Charlotte, NC and Tonya (Michael) Grantham of Douglas, GA; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Julius Clary, four daughters, Carol Frances Clary, Jean C Hughes, Sue C.Mangum, and Betsy Charlene Clary, Sister, Ruth Fite, and a great grandson, Alexabder Hughes.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Manchester, 536 Union Street, Manchester, GA. 31816. or Chariety of Choice.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Meriwether Memory Gardens Cemetery in Manchester, GA with Rev. Greg Williams officiating.

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
