Mrs. Mary Della Kinnett Harrell Merritt, age 73, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Coffee Regional Medical Center from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mrs. Merritt was born December 30, 1940 in Fitzgerald, GA to the late Charles Howard Kinnett and Onita Grimes Kinnett.

Mrs. Merritt is survived by her sons: Jerome (Vickie) Harrell of Ambrose, GA; and Wayne (Tina) Harrell of Ambrose, GA, two step-sons: Michael (Gail) Merritt of Douglas, GA and Walter Lamar (Robbie Lynn) Merritt of Ambrose, GA, one Step-daughter; Patsy (Miles) Burkett of Douglas, GA, one brother: Jerry Kinnett of Fitzgerald, GA, Grandchildren: Robert Jerome Harrell, Jr, Fred Merritt, Brandon Harrell, Ross Merritt, Danielle Harrell and David Perez; Step-grandchildren: John Railey, Hannah and Heather Railey, Summer and Jerry Alewine. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Harrell and her second husband, Roy Merritt, a daughter, Pamela Diane Harrell, two sisters, Annie Lou Pittman and Sarah Louise Trulove, three brothers: Cecil Paul Kinnett , Joe Daniel Kinnett and Hugh Curtis Kinnett.

Visitation for Mrs. Merritt will be held Sunday, November 30, 2014 and Monday, December 1, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Bushnell Chapel Church, Ambrose, GA , Rev. Gerald Gardner and Rev. Scott Smith will be officiating. Interment will follow at Reedy Branch Church Cemetery, Broxton, GA.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
