Carlton Brandon Jowers, age 38, of Atlanta, GA passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014. Mr. Jowers was born on June 23, 1976, in Tifton, GA to Phillip Mackey Jowers and Sharlene Helon Nolan Jowers Ingram.

Survivors include: his mother and stepfather, Sharlene Jowers Ingram and Kevin Ingram of Douglas, GA; father and stepmother, Phillip Mackey Jowers and Gretta Jowers of Ambrose, GA; brother, Jody Phillip Jowers of Ambrose, GA; three step brothers, Jeremy Smith of Broxton, Brandon Smith and Travis Ryan Smith both of Douglas, GA; paternal grandmother, Betty Ann Jowers of Douglas, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawton and Helon Nolan and paternal grandfather, Carl Jowers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Reedy Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Den Weniger, Rev. Floyd Musgrove and Rev. Larry Dean officiating. Interment will follow at Deberry Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
