Mrs. Wanda Adams Stone, age 63, of Douglas, GA, passed away Sunday morning, January 4, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness. She was born September 21, 1951 to the late John Quincy Adams and the late Nell Ellis Adams.

Survivors include: Her Husband: Rev. Larry Stone of Douglas, GA; 1 Son: Keith Lawrence (Kim) Stone of Douglas, GA; 2 Daughters: Kimberly Lynn (Terry) Tatum of Douglas, GA, Karen Leslie (Matt) Eldridge of Douglas, GA; 4 Brothers: Woodrow Adams of Hinesville, GA, John Wendell Adams of Jonesboro, GA, Kenny Adams and Randy Adams, both of Douglas, GA; 2 Sisters: Frances Woods and Cleo Chaney, both of Douglas, GA; 9 Grandchildren: Ryan Stone, Emily Stone, Lacey Stone, Tara Tatum, Tyler Tatum, Tori Tatum, Trace Tatum, Adlyn Eldridge and Aiden Eldridge all of Douglas, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Fussell and Rev. Jimmy Futch officiating. The interment will follow in the Tanner Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 at the Rocky Pond Baptist Church.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
