Douglas-based Broadcast South Media recently accepted the ‘Media of the Year’ award from the Georgia Peanut Commission in Tifton.

The award is given each year to one media entity for contributions in making the public aware of agricultural-related issues. This year’s award specifically recognized WKZZ Radio, The Farm, for its efforts.
