Mrs. Ola Smith Stone, age 93, of Douglas, passed away Tuesday evening, January 13, 2015, at her residence, following an extended illness. She was born January 1, 1922 to the late Manning George Smith and the late Rhoda Gaff Smith.

Survivors include: Children: Willene S. McNatt of Ocilla, Ga. ; Aline & Clyde Williams of Douglas, Ga., Shirlene “Shirley” Merritt of Douglas, Ga. ; Woodrow & Brenda Stone of Pearson, Ga., Stanley & Libby Stone ; Clifford & Sylvia Stone, all of Douglas, Ga., Alphine & Dale Davis of Manor, Ga. ; Chester & Judy Stone of Douglas, Ga., Ola & Junior McKinnon of Douglas, Ga. ; and Kenneth “Kenny” & Kay Stone of Axson, Ga.; 19 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Friday, January 16, 2015, at 2:00 P.M., at the Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. Bobby Fussell and Rev. Ed Gilliard officiating. The Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
