Tim Allen Buchan, age 68, of Ambrose, GA passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015, at Kennestone Hospital following a brief illness. Mr. Buchan was born on September 29, 1946, in Jacksonville, FL to the late Tim Buchan and Florene Tindel Buchan.

Survivors include: his wife, Janet Ferguson Buchan of Ambrose, GA; two daughters, Kathy (George) Bordeaux of Douglas, GA and Donna (Ken) Cook of Woodstock, GA; son, Waylon (Michelle) Buchan of Yucca Valley, CA; three sisters, Jennie Leggett of Sylvester, GA, Jo Moses of Rochelle, GA, and Rosa Lee of West Green, GA; eight grandchildren, Whitney White, Adam Day, Macy Kirkland, Ciara Kirkland, Alona Kirkland, Bran Buchan, Liam Buchan, and Jax Buchan; three great grandchildren, Fisher Day, Aubrey White, and Avella Tucker; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernice and Aubrey Day, two brothers, and three sisters.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at 5864 Hwy 221, Douglas, GA with Rev. Steve Atkinson, Waylon Buchan, and Richard Stagger officiating. Music is furnished for the service by Phillip Jowers.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kennestone Cardiac Services in honor of Allen Buchan. Checks can be made to The Wellstar Foundation, include Cardiac Services/Tim Allen Buchan on the memo line, mail to Wellstar Foundation, Penny Morrison-Ross, 805 Sandy Plains Road, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30066.
