On Friday, January 30, Mary Spurlin (a.k.a. the “Statue of Liberty”) with Liberty Tax Service visited Mrs. Katherine Gaskins’ and Mrs. Andrea Thompson’s kindergarten class at Westside Elementary School.
The students listened to interesting facts Ms. Spurlin presented on the Statue of Liberty. Each student was given a crown and a coloring sheet!
