Douglas Rotary President Christian Taylor and Rotarian Chad Guthrie welcome Michael Sullivan, center, who offered an informative overview of the mission and outreach of the University of Georgia’s Skidaway Institute of Oceanography. Founded just east of Savannah in 1968, the Institute’s faculty and staff provide services throughout the region and contribute to research on all aspects of the world’s oceans.
