Wayne Corbitt, age 47, of Douglas, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Corbitt was born on September 2, 1967, in Douglas, GA to Mildred Harrell Corbitt and the late Felton Corbitt.

Survivors include: his wife, Pamela Corbitt of Douglas, GA; special (daughter), Tiffany Batten of Douglas, GA; father and mother-in-law, Oliver and Faye Arnold of Douglas, GA; mother, Mildred Corbitt of Pearson, GA; brother, Jack Corbitt of Pearson, GA; sister, Lynn Hardeman of Eastman, GA; grandmother, Mary Hightower of Douglas, GA; special friend, Barbara Wall of Pearson, GA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Felton Corbitt.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Rowan Sirmans and Rev. Edward Matthews officiating. Eulogy by Barbara Wall. Interment will follow at Douglas City Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
