Mosquito Squad,  America’s leading brand dedicated exclusively to controlling annoying pests like mosquitoes and ticks that transmit disease and impact backyard experiences, is opening in South Georgia.

Known as “The Squad,” the company specializes in eliminating mosquitoes and ticks from outdoor living spaces.  The category of outdoor pest control is one of fastest growing in America, leading Brian and Cindy McNeill to start their business together to help people and pets enjoy the outdoors.

The McNeills are dog lovers and their two sons, now grown, have always loved spending time outside.  Their youngest son, Austin, a senior at Valdosta State University, plans to join the company after graduation this spring. The family wanted to provide a service to fellow outdoor lovers in the area and opened the office in January.  The Squad was recently recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top franchises in the country and the only outdoor pest control organization to make the list.

“Anyone who spends time outside in this part of the country knows all too well the nuisance and dangers of mosquitoes and ticks.  We are dedicated to educating homeowners on taking a proactive approach to eliminating them.  We look forward to servicing our growing number of customers who continue to rely on our service and ask us back, and we are happy to be expanding throughout South Central Georgia,” said Brian McNeill.

“At Mosquito Squad, we also offer event sprays, which are perfect for that outdoor wedding or reception, birthday parties, or a family reunion. Let us help make that special occasion mosquito-free for you and your guests,” added Cindy McNeill.

According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), vector-borne diseases are among the most complex of all infectious diseases to prevent and control. Not only is it difficult to predict the habits of mosquitoes and ticks, but most vector-borne viruses or bacteria infect animals as well as humans.

Territories covered by the Central Georgia office include Douglas, Abbeville Lakeland, Valdosta, Tifton, Moultrie, Cordele, McRae, Ashburn, and surrounding areas. Contact the McNeills at www.mosquitosquad.com or by phone at (912) 383-BITE (2483).
