Mr. Thomas Joseph “J T” Ellis, Jr. age 74, of Broxton, GA passed away on Thursday, May 7,2015 at Memorial Medical in Savannah, GA after an extended illness. Mr. Ellis was born on October 20, 1940 in Douglas, GA to the late Thomas Joseph Ellis and Sadie Hayes Ellis, SR.
He is survived by one daughter, Sheila Fussell of Douglas, GA, two grandaughters; two sisters: Eulaine M Edwards of Wray, GA and Juanita H McCook of North Augusta, SC, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Sims Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until time of Graveside service at 2:00 PM at Reedy Branch Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Tommy Edwards officiating.
