Ms. Marlene Murray, age 63, of Pearson passed away suddenly Saturday, May 9, 2015, at her residence. She was born July 3, 1951 to the late Virgle Murray and Gladeen Wright Murray.
Survivors include: 1 Son: David (Tracy) Taylor of Pearson, Ga., 1 Daughter: Amber (Jimmy) Jordan of Douglas, Ga., Mother: Gladeen W. Murray of Axson, Ga., 4 Brothers: H.P. Murray and Lester Murray both of Douglas, Ga., Iran Murray and Phillip Murray both of Axson, Ga. 4 Grandchildren: Chase (Jessica) Taylor and Hailey Taylor both of Pearson, Ga., Jaycee Jordan and Ansley Jordan both of Douglas, Ga. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., at Ozias Free Will Baptist Church in Pearson, GA., with the Interment to follow in the Jowers Chapel Cemetery in Atkinson County. Ms. Murray will be placed in the church at 10:00 A.M., to lie in state until the funeral hour. The family will be receiving friends Tuesday evening, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.
