The event will be at South Georgia State College, Douglas Campus, on Friday, June 5, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.  Participants will have the opportunity to earn a QA/QC certification after a classroom session and a field methods session.

This program is highly recommended for students who are interested in protecting their local waterways and becoming citizen scientists. Please come dressed appropriately for water sampling from a nearby creek.  This workshop will continue rain or shine.
