Douglas has once again found itself in an unfavorable position on a list of the most dangerous cities in the state of Georgia.

Homesnacks.net placed Douglas in the number five position, alongside other cities including College Park, East Point, Brunswick, Tifton, and Americus.

Here’s what they had to say:

“One of the smaller places on the list, Douglas still competes when it comes to crime. The seat of Coffee County, the city gets some of a caffeine rush from property crime, for which it ranks 5th overall in Georgia. So while it has things to do and the cost of living isn’t bad, Douglas gets an F when it comes to crime.”

As with other similar reports published over the last several months, homesnacks.net states it utilized the FBI’s 2013 Uniformed Crime Report to compile its findings.

“While we had data on every single place in the state, we only analyzed places with populations of more than 10,000 people as of 2013, which is the last year the report was available.”
