A local mom and dad were jailed together last week following a domestic spat in which both parties accused the other of destroying personal cell phones.

Douglas police were dispatched to Jamestown Dr. last Wednesday in reference to a domestic promblem. In his report, the responding officer wrote, “The complainant informed me that her baby daddy broke her phone and jumped on her. I then spoke with the baby daddy. He informed me that he broke her phone because she broke his.”

“Baby daddy,” who was identified as 20-year-old Terrez Sherod Brewton, told officers his phone was valued at around $200, while the complainant estimated her phone was worth about $700.

The female complainant, identified as 20-year-old Nyindia Zsazamer Boler, was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of criminal trespass. Brewton faces one count of second degree criminal damage to property.
