Mrs. Helen Stevens Stovall, age 78, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Stovall was born on October 1, 1936 in Coffee County, GA to the late Henry Stevens and Bertie Thomas Stevens.

She is survived by her daughter: Diane C (Edsel) Roberts of Douglas, GA, one son: Greg Stovall of Waner Robins, GA, one sister: Irma James of Douglas, GA and two brothers, Thomas D (Susan) Stevens and Jimmy Ray Stevens both of Jacksonville, FL; three grandchildren: Casey (Donya) Davis, Mandi Stovall and Brandi L. (Cal) Fales; three great grandchildren: Grissom Davis, McKinleigh Davis and Carlyn Davis, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother: Howell Stevens and two sisters: Bettie Nell Thomas and Virginia Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Congregational Christian Church. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Matt Rutland officiating.

Sims Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
