Mr. Roy Lee White, age 79, of Douglas passed away Saturday evening, June 27, 2015, at the Memorial Hospital, in Jacksonville, Florida, following an extended illness. He was born July 25, 1935 to the late John White and the late Lela Everson White.

Survivors include: His Wife: Josephine Kirkland White of Douglas, Ga.; Children: Debra Cribb, and her late husband, (Jim Cribb) of Albany, Ga.; Donna White of Detroit, Michigan, Deidre (Randy) Brown of Ocala, Florida, Darren White of Kingsland, Ga., Robert (Darlene) Jones of Jacksonville, Florida, Pam (Al) McKinnon of St. Simons Island, Ga., and David (Michelle) Jones of Newberry, Florida. 16 Grandchildren. 5 Great Grandchildren. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Pine Grove Baptist Church, at 2:00 P. M., with Rev. John Carver and Rev. Mike Everson officiating. The Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. Mr. White will be placed in the Church, Wednesday, at 1:00 P. M., at lie in state, until the funeral hour. The family will begin receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
