Stanley M. Carter, age 62, of Nicholls, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Carter was born on June 10, 1953, in Douglas, GA to Geneva Carter and the late Milton Carter.
Survivors include: his three sons, Bryan Carter of Willacoochee, GA, Dayton Carter of Gainville, GA, and Ashley Carter of Douglas, GA; two daughters, Alanie Carter of Nicholls, GA and Dana Adams of Douglas, GA; mother, Geneva Carter of Douglas, GA; several grandchildren; two sisters, Deborah (Donald) Carver of Douglas, GA and Dionne Harper of Douglas, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 from 11:00 am till funeral hour. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Leroy Spivey officiating. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery.
