The Satilla Regional Library System hosted the Bright Star Touring Theatre earlier this week, which performed their show, Happily Ever After, where fairy tales were brought to life.

Bright Star Touring Theatre performed fairy tales and fractured fairy tales including Elvis and the Shoemaker, Rumpelstiltkin, Rapunzel, and Little Red Riding Hood. There was time for questions after the performances, and the audience had a great time with lots of laughs.

Mrs. Kate will be our next performer on Wednesday, July 8, at 11 a.m. in Douglas and 2:30 p.m. in Pearson. She will be performing Humble Hero Highlights with Mrs. Kate. There will be puppets, songs, stories, and interactive fun.

For more information on upcoming youth programs at Satilla Regional Library, please call Julie Macomber, Children’s and Young Adult Librarian, at (912)384-4667 ext. 222. You can also visit us online at our website, www.srlsys.org.
