The doors will open to the first screening of the feature film “Surrender” next Saturday, July 11, at 5 p.m.
The faith-based film tells the story of a young police officer who must face tragedy at home and in the workplace. The story follows the officer through a religious journey as he progresses through his career. The film’s high speed chases and action combined with the faith-based message makes the film entertaining and suitable for families.
A collection of local filmmakers came together last Summer to film “Surrender” over the course of 40 days in Fitzgerald, Georgia, and filmmakers relied on cooperation from the city and local businesses to make the film.
Sidney Bryant Films invites the public to the red carpet event next Saturday at the Grand Theatre in Fitzgerald. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the film begins at 6 p.m.
Tickets may be pre-purchased at www.surrenderthemovie.com or at the door. Adult tickets are $12 and children tickets are $8.
