Mrs. Marie Grantham Smith, age 91, of Douglas passed away Saturday afternoon, July 11, 2015, at the Coffee Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born June 4, 1924to the late Henry N. Grantham and the late Dorothy Batten Grantham.
Survivors include: 1 Son: Floyd Emory Smith of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Sister: Hazel G. Spivey of Douglas, Ga.; 1 Sister-In-Law: Geraldine Grantham of Douglas, Ga.; Brother-In-Law: Joel T. (Betty) Smith of Douglas, Ga.; Sister-In-Law: Faye Carolyn (Jimmy) Weeks of Douglas, Ga.; Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, Cousins, and Other Relatives.
Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at 11:00 A. M., at the Salem Holiness Baptist Church, with Rev. Donnie Sloan, Rev. Tommy Greene, and Rev. Kyle Lloyd officiating. The Interment will follow in the Grantham Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.
