The South Georgia Outdoor Expo will be held at Central Square Complex in downtown Douglas August 21 from 1 to 7 p.m. and August 22 from 9 a.m to 5 p.m.  To kick off the event, organizers are hosting the Wild Game Supper on Thursday, August 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the CE Weir Center.

“The Wild Game Supper was delicious last year and is always an added plus to kick off the Outdoor Expo,” says Georgia Henderson, event organizer.

Tickets are on sale now at the Douglas Visitor Information Center located at 211 South Gaskin Avenue.  The guest speaker for the supper will be local dentist and falconer, Dr. Griff Lindsey.  Tickets are$15 per person.
