Satilla Regional Library System had a fun and exciting 2015 Summer Reading Program with theme “Every Hero Has a Story!” that started Monday, June 1, and went through Thursday, July 23. There were many great performances that included juggling, magic, balloons, the zoo, theatre, folk music and storytelling, and taiko drumming.  There were also teddy bear picnics, mid-summer prizes of two passes each for two winners to Wild Adventures Theme Park, and grand prizes of a $ 50 Wal-Mart gift card and an Apple I-Pad Mini; with a winner for each prize.

Thank you so much to all the organizations and businesses that helped make this a great Summer Reading Program for the children and teens of Coffee and Atkinson Counties!

Many thanks to these organizations and businesses for their donations: Wild Adventures Theme Park, R. Cato Accounting and Tax Service, D & R Auto Sales, Coffee County Farm Bureau, Ameris Bank, Danny’s Pizza, Bennett Repair Service, BFD Tobacco, Douglas National Bank, Broxton Women’s Club, the Douglas Kiwanis Club, Wingate Grocery and Feed, and Subway.
