Doris Lewis Sayer, age 79, of Wray, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Sayer was born on June 19, 1936, in Denton, GA to the late Leon Lewis and Bitha Hand Lewis.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert Sayer of Wray, GA; son, Michael Sayer of Wray, GA; daughter, Rose (Carlton) Dorminey of Ambrose, GA; brother, Avin (Dora) Lewis of Hazlehurst, GA; sister, Janice Caves of Patterson, GA; four grandchildren, Jeremy Dorminey, Joshua Dorminey, Jacob Sayer, and Elijah Sayer; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Deberry Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Dean and Rev. Jeremy Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Deberry Church Cemetery.
