Danny Fussell, age 64, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2015, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Fussell was born on October 25, 1950, in Waycross, GA to the late Esteen Edith Wright. Mr. Fussell retired from the Police Department after 38 years of service. He was also a security officer at Coffee Regional Medical Center for 28 years.
Survivors include: his wife, Virginia Fussell of Douglas, GA; daughter, Tammy (Chris) Maze of Douglas, GA; sister, Janice Soles of Augusta, GA; three grandchildren, Matthew Taylor, Chandler Maze, and Jordan Maze; three great grandchildren, Jaedyn Taylor, Bentley Taylor, and Cason Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. John Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Church Cemetery.
