Congressman Rick Allen to speak at Chamber Power Lunch next Monday

Congressman Rick Allen will be the guest speaker at the August Power Lunch on Monday, August 24, which will be held at the Douglas Golf & Country Club beginning at noon.

Allen will speak on the topic of leadership in honor of the Leadership Coffee Class of 2015 Graduation.

Leadership Coffee is comprised of business and government leaders and is designed to educate these leaders in the workings of community and economic development.

Graduates include Ashlee Morris (Shady Acres), Ben Horner (CMS), Taylor Hereford (SGSC), Casey Thompson (WGTC), Lee Taylor (Zaxby’s), Brandi Hester (Medicine Cabinet), Judy Artis (Boys and Girls Club), Perette Morris (Salvation Army), Dr. Morris Leis (Coffee County School System), Judi Worrell (Coffee County BOE), Natasha Kazan (Telamon), Ashley Harden (Premium Waters), Jan Smith, Beverly Perry and Nikki Thompson (City of Douglas), Dawn Blocker (Walmart DC), Jordan Stone (CRMC), Kendra Streat (Southeastern Orthopaedics), Kayla Vickers (DNB), Stacy Tyre (Crosby of Coffee), and Pam Smith (Coffee College & Career Academy).

Southwire is the event’s sponsor, and lunch is $9.25.

The community is invited to attend.
