Mr. Arlen McKinnon, Sr., age 82, of Willacoochee passed away early Friday morning, August 28, 2015, at his residence following a short illness. He was born October 1, 1932 to the late Monroe McKinnon and the late Mary Jane Carver McKinnon.

Survivors include: His Wife: Betty Jowers McKinnon of Willacoochee, Ga.; 1 Son: Arlen McKinnon, Jr. of Willacoochee, Ga.; 1 Daughter: Kathleen Merritt of Willacoochee, Ga.; 2 Brothers: Harvey McKinnon of Douglas, Ga., and Monroe McKinnon, Jr. of Willacoochee, Ga.; 5 Sisters: Willie Mae McKinnon, Louise Mauldin, and Florene Phillips, all of Douglas, Ga., Betty Jean Soles of Willacoochee, Ga, and Martha Denton of Broxton, Ga.; 5 Grandchildren: Sarah Hodge of Douglas, Ga., Kayla and Layne Merritt, both of Willacoochee, Ga., Hunter McKinnon of Willacoochee, Ga., and Hailey Courson of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Several Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Other Relatives.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, August 30, 2015, at 3:00 P. M., at the Mora Baptist Church, with the Interment to follow in the Mora Cemetery. The family will begin receiving friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
