Mrs. Gail Harrell Smith, age 59, of Nicholls passed away early Sunday morning, September 13, 2015, at the Doctors’ Hospital in Augusta, following a short illness. She was born January 4, 1956 to the late Raymond Monroe Harrell and Johnnie Latrelle Adams Harrell.

Survivors include: Her Husband of 43 years: Jessie Randy Smith, Sr. of Nicholls, Ga.; 3 Sons: Jessie R. (Tiffany Lynn) Smith, Jr. of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin ; Larry Keith (Melissa) Smith of Vienna, Ga., Charles Wesley Smith of Adairsville, Ga; 1 Daughter: Megon Rejena (Logan) Tomasiewicz of Pamama City, Florida.; Her Mother: Johnnie Adams Harrell of Broxton, Ga.; 3 Brothers: Wayne (Brenda) Harrell of Columbus, Ga., ; Raymond (Lisa) Harrell of Douglas, Ga., Donnie (Faye) Harrell of Warm Springs, Ga.; 2 Sisters: Latrelle (Jimmy) Johnson of Douglas, Ga., Jan (Gary) Vining of Lawrenceville, Ga.; 10 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at 11:00 A. M., at the First Assembly of God, with Rev. Adam Henderson and Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. The Interment will follow in the Douglas Chapel Cemetery, near Broxton. Mrs. Smith will be placed in the Church, Wednesday morning, at 10:00 A. M., to lie in state, until the funeral hour. The family will begin receiving friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 9:00 P. M., at Ricketson Funeral Home.

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements.
