Beulah Carver, age 97, of Douglas, GA passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Carver was born on July 14, 1918, in Pearson, GA to the late Elias Metts and Irene Royals Metts .

Survivors include: her two daughters, Jimmie Sue Mancil of Douglas, GA and Rachael Day of Douglas, GA; six grandchildren, Shannon Sirmans, Mark Mancil, Breana Mercer, Jacquelin Vickers, Don Hamilton, and Ron Hamilton; fourteen great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carver; sister, Blannie Youngblood; and four brothers, William Metts, Don Metts, Elton Metts, and Henry Metts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Wesley Chapel with Elder Roger Summerlin and Rev. Robert Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at Royals Church Cemetery.

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
