Ms. Linda Carole Davis, age 51, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015 at her home following an extended illness. Ms. Davis was born on November 13, 1963 in Douglas, GA to the late Jimmy Davis and Glenda Faye Zanders Davis.
She is survived by her daughter: Laken Amanda Crews of Douglas, GA; sister: Brenda (Wendell) Smith of Douglas, GA; two stepsons: Eric Crews and Kipp Crews both of Atlanta, GA; two grandchildren, Danny Byrd of Homerville, GA and Tara Jaden Byrd of Douglas, GA; two nephews: Marqus Tillman of Waycross, GA and Jessie Davis of Broxton, GA. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Paternal, Herbert and Elzia Zanders and Maternal, Henry and Zelpha Mae Davis and two brothers, Randall Davis and Edward Davis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 6:00 Pm to 9:00 PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 17, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with the Rev. Hilton Martin and Sister Marie Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
