West Green Elementary students and staff celebrated Constitution Day on September 17.

During the assembly, kindergarten students led the student body in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the American flag.  First grade students shared a Constitution booklet they created in class and second grade students read aloud the Preamble to the Constitution.

Mrs. Carol Morgan told the students what it meant to be a good citizen and Mr. Arnold Parsons presented pocket Constitutions to our fourth grade students. Third grade students created a beautiful American flag that was displayed at the assembly.

West Green Elementary students enjoyed learning about the Constitution.
